They use positive reinforcement and their extensive knowledge of effective training methods to teach you how to train your dog. Did you know that Lisa & Jake, our trainers are AKC CGC Evaluators,
they also administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program, CGC, AKC Community Canine (the advanced level of CGC), Urban CGC, Video Home Manners and Trick Dog tests!
Canine Good Citizen (CGC)class $195, 6 weeks, meeting once per week, includes the AKC CGC test fee, and is designed to prepare dogs for the AKC CGC certification as well as the AKC Urban CGC test.
The CGC test and Urban CGC may be taken on the same day.

Scent Work Introduction

Doggieland is proud to offer a comprehensive scent work training program. This 6 session introduction course will lay the foundation which allows your dog to harness their innate sense of smell to detect odors. Scent work engages and stimulates your dog physically and mentally. Any dog can do scent work. Scent work is meaningful mental stimulation and is hugely beneficial for your dog. It helps calm dogs that seem to have endless energy.

Puppy Basics Class (8–18 Weeks)
$200 for a 6-Week Session
Our Puppy Basics class is designed to support puppies during the most critical stage of early development. In this foundational program, you will learn how puppies learn—covering essential manners, appropriate socialization, and early leash skills to help build confidence, focus, and a strong human-dog connection.
We focus on safely and positively introducing your puppy to new sounds, sights, smells, people, animals, and environments. Proper exposure during this developmental window is key to raising a well-adjusted, confident dog.
Age Requirement:
Puppies must be 8–16 weeks old at the start of class.

Our Puppy Step-Up class is designed for young teenage pups who are beginning to discover their independence—commonly referred to as the “testing period” in a puppy’s development.
This class focuses on building good manners through positive reinforcement training while strengthening attention, confidence, and the human-dog connection. We advance foundational skills in a structured, supportive environment that sets pups up for long-term success. This program is ideal for recently adopted puppies as well as pups transitioning out of beginner puppy classes.
Age Requirement:
Pups must be 17–24 weeks (4–6 months) old at the start of class.

Advanced Training (6 Months and Older)
$550 for a 6-Week Session
Our Advanced Training class is designed for older adolescent and adult dogs who are ready to strengthen reliability, manners, and real-world skills. This program is also appropriate for recently adopted dogs who already have a basic training foundation and are ready to continue their education in a structured group environment.
In this class, we focus on reinforcing core obedience while expanding skills needed for everyday life. Training includes increased leash work, polite greetings, impulse control, and practical strategies for navigating real-life situations with confidence and consistency.
Age Requirement:
Dogs must be 6 months of age or older at the start of class.

Important Eligibility Note:
This class is not appropriate for dogs who have not yet learned basic commands or for dogs who struggle with excessive barking in group settings.

Behavior Modification Class
This is a 1:1 private class designed individually, focused on your dogs’ specific needs for any concerning behaviors. We work on replacing incompatible behaviors with compatible behaviors. This may be achieved through shaping new behaviors, conditioning, teaching your dog to respond in a different manner to a particular event, teaching you how to respond differently to a particular event, and/or helping your dog desensitize to a particular provocation. ***Call us for more information, prices and number of sessions, vary depending on needs.
Training Class Policies
Participants will be asked to agree to the policies below when registering for any Dog Training Class at Doggieland Play Park LLC
Cancellations
Training class fees are nonrefundable.
Dogs that shouldn’t attend group classes:
Dogs that are aggressive towards people; dogs that cannot safely be controlled on-leash in close proximity to other dogs; and dogs that are unable to stop barking at other dogs for the duration of class are not permitted in class.
Health & Vaccinations
I certify that my pet is current on his or her vaccinations for Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper, and is currently on a flea prevention program. I also certify that to the best of my knowledge my dog is free of parasites, internal and external, and free of communicable diseases. I agree to NOT BRING my dog to the building or grounds of Doggieland Play Park LLC if I know or suspect that my dog is ill. If my dog is too young to have been given all of these vaccinations, they will be administered at the appropriate age. I will keep my dog current on all such vaccinations, titers or other vaccine-related recommendations made for my dog by my veterinarian, while attending Doggieland Play Park LLC classes.
Risk & Injuries
I understand that being around dogs and participating in activities at Doggieland Play Park LLC involves risk of injury to my dog and me. In consideration for being allowed to participate in classes and other dog training activities, I accept these risks. I accept full responsibility for the acts of myself, my dog, and my guests while attending these classes. I understand that Doggieland Play Park LLC cannot be held responsible for any injury caused by me or my dog, or to me or my dog, and I release Doggieland Play Park LLC, its employees, members, and volunteers from all claims of liability, for injury, disease or damage that I, my guests, or my dog may suffer or cause while on the grounds of Doggieland Play Park LLC.
Photo Release
I also agree that Doggieland Play Park LLC may photograph or video my participation in any of the dog or puppy training classes and I hereby release any such photographs and/or videos to Doggieland Play Park LLC for its use in programs, publications and other purposes.
